The ecosystem is a joint venture between Luckymatrix, a Lisbon-based production company, and Alphanso Technology, an Indian high-tech firm, and ProduThing serves as the exclusive UK office and representative.
ProduThing also operates as an independent media company and produces original content, including the award-winning digital drama Match Not Found and the crime show/novel "Décade."
Their latest project is a biopic based on the best-selling book "The Berlin Wall: My Part in Its Downfall" by Peter Millar, a maverick journalist and the 1989 Foreign Correspondent of the Year.
Phil Ox is an award-winning producer and director of French, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Chinese origin. He's a polyglot polymath with a passion for good writing, teamwork, and affordable technology. As a teenager, he began his career as a radio DJ during the rise of free FM radio in Paris. He then worked as a Tape Operator for the renowned Lillie Yard Hans Zimmer studio, recording radio advertising every morning with Hans and once with the Beatles producer George Martin.
In the evenings, he collaborated with pop bands such as Yes, Bronski Beat, and Shriekback, and worked on movie soundtracks, including Stephen Frears' My Beautiful Laundrette and Nicholas Roeg's Insignificance. Concurrently, Phil wrote articles for magazines such as Rock&Folk, Details, and 20/20, interviewing some of the most influential figures in the industry, including Spike Lee, Bjork, David Cronenberg, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
As a producer and director, Phil's specialties lie in scripted, long-running series, comedy, and visual effects, which he produces in-house, as well as international
co-productions.
He has worked for top entertainment companies such as the BBC, Channel 4, Nickelodeon, and Canal+ on the irreverent cartoon show Popetown and the hit sitcom Genie in the house. He is the boss of production companies I Love Television and ProduThing in London and Luckymatrix in Lisbon.
Gaurav Kanabar serves as the Chief Technologist for Digital Content and Platforms at Luckymatrix, a Lisbon-based company specialising in film, television, and digital content production. As a skilled software developer, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College, situated in Bangalore, often referred to as the "Silicon Valley of India." Alongside his role at Luckymatrix, Gaurav oversees operations at Alphanso Technology, an India-based software development company in Rajkot.
Launching his professional career in 2013 as a software developer and entrepreneur with Alphanso Technology, Gaurav has since taken on diverse roles, including Project Manager, Sales, Business Development Executive, and Marketing. Gaurav boasts an impressive track record of delivering innovative digital platforms to clients such as Pinnacle Hip Hop Radio, Jamaicans Music, Paytix, Immassive, Gateway Stream Media, and more. A resourceful entrepreneur with a flair for innovation, Gaurav is a well-rounded individual, adept at balancing technical expertise with business acumen. His guidance and innovative solutions have set over 200 startups on the path to success.
